Creole Rhythms Meet Jazz Akoda's World Music Day Performance

A performance by the Creole Jazz band Akoda as part of the Fete de la Musique celebrations was featured by IME. The Bordeaux-based trio, led by pianist and singer Valérie Chane Tef from Reunion Island, with Eric Perez on percussion, and Thomas Boude on bass. It showcased music reflective of their Creole identity. This programme was presented in partnership with Alliance Francaise Bangalore, the French Institute, and the Embassy of France, contributing to IME's World Music Day celebrations.
