She also claimed gold at the National Open Water Championship and the CBSE Nationals in Bhubaneswar. She will represent India at the 11th Asian Open Water Swimming Competitions in Hong Kong.

Parinitha K, Std 8, The Brigade School, Malleswaram, won gold in U-14 Shot Put at the CBSE Cluster Meet, qualifying for nationals where she claimed silver with a 10.69m throw. She also took gold in Javelin (42.84m) and silver in Shot Put (10.89m) at the Karnataka Olympics.
