IME museum in partnership with Bhoomija Trust presented Jackfruit 2023 during September. As a museum and educational institution, children and young people are at the core of the work we do, because one day they will be the musicians and music lovers of tomorrow. Vidushi Shubha Mudgal Ji curated this year’s edition and featured an exciting lineup of workshops and performances helmed by phenomenal young practitioners and stalwarts from different genres of music, whose work our audiences and the people of Bangalore participated with great enthusiasm. This special festival sparked the creativity and imagination of many young minds and inspired them to delve deeper into the world of music.

This year’s exciting line-up included two stunning flagship showcase concerts conceptualized and directed by Shubha Mudgal and distinguished tabla maestro Dr. Aneesh Pradhan. A never-before experience was presented to the young musicians of Bengaluru - a range of short and exquisite workshops for different age groups. Aruna Sairam, Shantanu Moitra, Peach Blok, Vineeth Vincent, MD Pallavi, Shantanu Bhattacharyya, Amrit N, and Bikram Ghosh have conducted these workshops.
