Honour for a Pioneer

M R Jaishankar, Executive Chairman, Brigade Group was conferred the ‘Bharat Ratna’ Sir M Visvesvaraya Award, by FKCCI.

The honour was bestowed on M R Jaishankar by The Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FKCCI) on the occasion of its Founders’ Day as well as the 162nd birth anniversary of Sir M. Visvesvaraya.

M R Jaishankar was recognised for his outstanding achievement and contribution in construction, building activity, as well as in the fields of education, health, community development, social and philanthropic work.

Speaking at the occassion, Shri. Basavaraj S. Bommai, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Karnataka said,

Accepting the award via video presentation, M R Jaishankar said, “I am deeply humbled to receive the ‘Bharat Ratna’ Sir M. Visvesvaraya Award. It’s highly motivating not only for me but also to the team at Brigade to whom I dedicate this award.”
