Oh Infra, where art thou?
While good roads and public infrastructure in Bangalore seem a distant pipe dream, there is some hope. The Government of Karnataka has acknowledged that while infra in the city has suffered in the past 2 years, this was due to the Government’s focus on containing the pandemic. With Covid hopefully behind us, they have committed to actual implementation of infra works over the next year or two. A slew of infra works have been announced and pushed, in some cases even by the Courts.
These include the Peripheral Ring Road (PRR), the Satellite Town Ring Road (STRR), the Gunjur Varthur flyover and additional phases of Namma Metro. This is good news for many of our projects which stand to benefit from these initiatives including Brigade Cornerstone Utopia, Brigade Orchards and a few upcoming launches.
