Quality is one of Brigade’s core values and the quality of construction is an aspect that engineers at Brigade hold very close to their heart. All engineers at Brigade strive to deliver good quality projects not only because it is an important factor for buyers to choose the Brigade brand, but also because it gives every engineer a sense of self-satisfaction.

While several customers have expressed their contentment on the quality of the projects delivered, Brigade’s engineers have been on a journey of continuous improvement in cons-truction quality. The continuous improvement in Brigade is a topdown approach and discussions on the betterment often happen over a monthly Engineers’ Meet attended by engineers from all projects.

Few of the practices followed by the Engineering Team to improve quality are:

• CONQUAS (Construction Quality Assessment System) of all Brigade projects which enables course correction and encourages healthy competition between projects
• Every apartment delivered by Brigade goes through a series of standardized inspections and comes out QA (Quality Assurance) certified before handover to customer
• Root cause analysis is done and remedial measures are often suggested internally by seniors or externally by industry experts
• QIS (Quality Improvement Suggestions) are circulated to all the Engineers regularly to help them understand the best practices
• Standardized inspection testing plans ensures that the quality of all material and services that are consumed in every project meet the desired specifications

Going forward, the vision of the Engineering Team is to achieve zero snags in the project delivery. By targeting zero snags, customer satisfaction indices, which is monitored, has improved substantially. Hence, the engineers are keen to achieve “excellence” in execution.
