What Great Leaders Do
In my view, a leader is a leader irrespective of the title/designation they carry in the corporate world or otherwise. I believe that leadership is an individual’s character with a combination of specific skill sets and does not depend on their hierarchical position. They are the ones who can think and act individually and holistically in consideration of all associates, partners, teammates, subordinates and stakeholders.
Leaders are quick to learn, consider others’ views, quickly adapt to changing dynamics, and often become the trigger to initiate changes. They can drive and empower a team to excel despite challenges and obstacles. Self-belief and the right intent in their approach give them the confidence to be on a leader’s path and achieve greater heights.
