The rise of the residential real estate in the new normal

Recent trends in the market have indicated a positive sentiment when it comes to residential projects in the long run. Many industry experts believe that home buyers will continue making enquiries but would need a gentle nudge into making a decision.

According to Anarock’s recent research India’s residential property segment is seeing a dramatic return from serious inquiries, now at 50% of pre-COVID-19 peaks in metro cities. Recovery in Bengaluru is fastest, where existing inquiries have crossed 70% of the January-February period.

The report stated that 2 BHKs and 3 BHKs are in highest demand in terms of property configurations. Though buyers are more inclined towards and upward to 3 BHKs in Bengaluru, Gurgaon, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Noida. MMR (Mumbai Metropolitan Region) sees a higher preference for 2 BHKs over the previous 1 BHKs.
