Building a greener future

In this day and age, we hear everyone talking about going green. Given the rate at which we are going, erratic climate changes and scarcity of natural resources is a reality that is staring us right in the face. And there is no running away from it. In the early 1990s, Bengaluru was known as the pensioner’s paradise, a green city that was also called the ‘Garden city of India’ for its lush green gardens, parks, pleasant weather and the relaxed life. All this changed with the emergence of the IT Boom. Urban forests made way for modern structures, IT Parks took over the farmlands and the mango orchards, the green cover was lost. Bangalore had changed and changed rapidly. At Brigade, we make a conscious effort to build a greener future.
