Composting Activity

As part of the curriculum the students of Class 1 were shown the procedure of turning waste material into useful compost. Students learnt that plant waste which is generally considered unwanted could be used to make manure for garden plants. Students brought peels and leaves and enthusiastically participated in an activity which helped them become aware of their responsibilities towards their environment.
