Workshop on Smart Cities hosted at WTC Bangalore

The first event of Smart Cities India Foundation (SCIF), a one-day workshop on ‘Smart Capital: Creating Smart Solutions for Bengaluru’ was held on May 27, 2015 at the World Trade Center Bangalore. The objective was to understand what the Smart Cities Mission launched by Government. of India is all about and explores the scope for Smart City initiatives in Bengaluru.

The workshop was inaugurated by the BBMP administrator, Mr. Vijay Bhaskar - IAS, and featured talks by eminent speakers on current smart initiatives in Bengaluru. SCIF is chaired by Dr. A Ravindra, Former Chief Secretary of Karnataka and has Mr. M R Jaishankar, CMD - Brigade Group, as one of its Board of Directors.
